My old Polaris was 22 years old, replaced parts through the years my self. The new one is similar works good. Only thing, it climbs the wall where hose hooks up , and gets tangled!?
Everything works as described….drop it and go. Does a great job cleaning the bottom of the pool.

Been using a Polaris 280 for years. Finally replaced an old one (that I rebuilt a couple years ago) with a new one. So far it's doing it's job well. After initial installation it was tangling itself but I think it's worked out now

Assembly & setup instructions that came with the cleaner are poorly written and very confusing. Even Leslie's personnel thought they were confusing. Leslie's manager was very helpful.

Before the Polaris the bottom deep end of the pool was a leaf and debris collecting point. But once the Polaris was introduced, the bottom of the pool became crystal clear.

Not my first 280. My new one like those I have purchased in the past does the job better than any battery powered robot I have tried. The 280 is simple to install, operate and maintain with DIY options for when the time comes for a part replacement.
