The unit works very well I did have to remove the restrictor plate in order to gain enough pressure to fully run the sweep.

Our Older unit worked for many years. We called him Oscar. More or less forced to retire Oscar we purchased the never unit, which is functioning flawlessly. We call him Felix. Love the reliability of the Polaris Vac-Sweep 280.

I recently purchased a Polaris 280 cleaner and installed it myself. It works flawlessly. Very happy with my purchase. Just remember to trim the Polaris hose to the dimensions of your pool as per installation instructions.

The 280 works fine, but a more in-depth User Guide would be helpful, especially as it relates to removing and replacing the bag.
