Love the staff and veterinarians here! My lab puppy is always excited to arrive here and comes back out to the car still in good spirits. I've used the services here for getting his standard shots up to date as well as helping with some puppy stuff like belly rashes and eye gunk. They're always responsive and quick to help either over the phone or in person. Highly recommend trusting this business with your animal family members!

My visit to the Portland Veterinary Wellness Center was a sad day. I don't wish to go into details, but I knew going in that I would leave alone. The staff were kind and gentle and so very helpful. In the mail yesterday I received a condolence card from them, which was so thoughtful. Thank you all for your kindness and empathy.

We miss Kelli Smith and all of the staff so much. We have a blind Akita named Kenai and they were our vet for 5. Years.Our dog actually loved going to the vet to see everyone. The first year we had Kenai she had to have an operation that saved her life. We are so grateful to everyone that gave her such special love. We recently moved to CA.

My usual veterinary office in NE Portland turned me away when I called at 5:04 pm on a weekday when my little dog was attacked and bleeding a month or two ago. They offered no other assistance or information and I was freaked out and panicking but was able to take her in to emergency and she's fine now. When I needed to take both my dogs to the vet for an issue, I had no intention of returning to that veterinary office so I did a google search and found the Portland Wellness Center which was nearby my home and I am so glad ... read more

The last 12 hours were rough. My old lady, Yaya, a 8 year old Neapolitan Mastiff has some cancer that we were watching. But as these things happen she went downhill overnight. She woke me at 1am and was in a lot of pain. I cuddled with her and tried to bring her comfort until vet offices opened. Portland Vet wasn't my first stop at 7am. My dog has a lot of anxiety, especially surrounding the vet. She can be very difficult to handle to say the least. She has had a series of health issues and they have done everything they can to provide the best care and find a solution. She is now as healthy as can be! Recently, she needed her 1 year shots. I took my kitty to see the vet Friday. She was in a lot of pain The staff was friendly and greeted us. While I was waiting in the lobby I looked around to see cute pics of puppies but lots of dust. After we were escorted into the exam room they were kind and friendly. While I waswaiting for the Dr to come in we noticed the exam room was very dusty and in need of paint. My son's 13-year-old female Basset Hound wasn't eating so we took her to our nearby, former, Companion Pet Clinic. We were greeted by a staff that was mostly brand new to this location. Nevertheless, our appointment was handled quickly and efficiently. It turned out she was very sick and needed surgery. This is my go-to vet even though it is a little distance from my house. They are reasonably priced and always give you an estimate before doing any work on your pet. Scheduling has been easy and the staff are competent and caring. Thank you!
