Designed for a daycare kid's learning tablet. I use it to print from a PC and not from the integrated keypad. Constantly have problems in Windows 7 64 bit with having to reinstall drivers and reboot to get it to print. As noted by others, poor adhesion quality on label material, so buy my compatible cassettes from Chinese sellers for a fraction of the price. Love Brother, have 6, but this one sucks Too much trouble just to get simple labels printed! You have to go through a whole menu of option before you can say YES ,, print the darned thing. Sometimes improvements can actually be too smart for their own good. Give me my old 2730 ANd yes I really do own 6 other Brother labelers. I am the LAbel Queen. Should be a spokesperson for Brother!
poops out extra tape each print Kinda big and clunky, likes to waste tape.
It should not be like that! Thanks for the chance to comment The laminated stickers coming out of the machine are not strong enough. They fall off when attached to any surface. I also found the stickers too large/wide. To get something smaller/narrower I would have to buy a smaller label sticker. It should not be like that! Thanks for the chance to comment!
Easy to use, easy to break Worked well for about first 4-5 uses. Computer software is easy to use and expanded options with that are useful as well. However, after 4-5 uses a piece came loose and it's impossible to get any kind of tape to feed through or even insert correctly, and any tape unit that you try to insert, as I did after I thought i had the offending loose piece back in place, will only come out by breaking part of the tape unit, rendering that tape unit unusable even if I can get the printer itself back to work.... read more
Far from perfect Prone to eat or jam tape. Spits out 1 inch of blank tape with every print job- wasteful.
This thing is enormous; don't be fooled by the ... This thing is enormous; don't be fooled by the photos, where all those printers look the same. This one is the size of a DVD player. Also the color screen was defective, with horizontal bars.
Be sure you know what you are buying. What a ripoff. You would assume that a P touch machine that uses TZe tapes would work with your old tapes. WRONG. If you use a variety of tapes, you have to order all new TZe tapes. The old style TZ tapes won't work in the. New machine.
Two Stars I love the product, but I've had it for 2 months and the cord has already died!
