One Star Arrived in original packaging, but it appears used and has several scratches on the screen.
software makes this unusable The software that comes with this, which is why I got it, is a nightmare. It's basically unusable. I haven't been able to use the label maker because the software is such garbage. (PS, I have never had trouble with software before and have used complex design programs, so this is not a user issue. It's that bad.)

Totally Useless For Macintosh Users Unless you happen to be on OS8 or OS9. Duh! Decades old software? You've got to be kidding! There is a Brother PT-D600.app, but it's useless, too. They're pretty up to date for PCs and have lots of PC additions for design add-ons. It seems the person at Brother in charge of this product line doesn't give a S#it. Great Label maker, but without any Mac software, is limited to what you can do. Totally and completely disappointed with Brother.
Two Stars The screen resolution is horrible.
Overpriced, PC Compatibility is Bad It works, but a little difficult to use. Be careful of what size tape you buy, and what color. The P-Touch Editor is absolute crap, so don't even think about using the PC feature. That's the main reason I purchased it, so I'm disappointed. You'll get the same thing from a labeler a quarter of the price.
The more you know I thought this was going to be amazing and change my life. I used it once about 4 months ago and haven't gotten it out of the drawer again. It's just a fancy label maker that doesn't make your labels look any fancier. I just bought a new printer and will use that to make (or not make) all my labels. Don't waste your money on this. If you really want one...contact me, I have a used one at a great price!
It's a horror. I gave it to someone to ... It's a horror. I gave it to someone to figure out how this works. This is someone who NEVER has a problem learning even the most advanced machinery. He couldn't do it. And I know he really tried. Hence I am returning it.
