Fantastic place. Compassionate, considerate front desk, and I found Dr. Schecter to be very thorough with my cat, Beadie. Highly recommend this place!
Dr. Liff is an amazing vet and we love this practice. They all take such great care of our puppy and we trust them completely. They are efficient, organized and so well run - we know we are in the best hands. We live on the east side but come out to Hell's Kitchen - Pure Paws is absolutely the best and we wouldn't take our puppy anywhere else.
It's great they are close to our apartment and have really flexible opening times. The service is outstanding and they really made our 2 dogs feel comfortable and relaxed.
I have been to running paws with my dog a few times - for neutering, regular check-ups and recently an emergency. As nervous as I was I never needed to be. They go out of their way to make him feel the best he can as well as me. Rocky loves going there! He gets so excited to see everyone! I couldn't have asked for a better vet or staff! Love this place. I came in with an emergency where my dog was having trouble breathing. They were closing in 15 minutes but doctor Alex took her right in and put her on oxygen. They stayed two hours past closing and did everything they could to make sure my baby was OK. Dr. Alex was wonderful, compassionate and knowledgeable. The desk staff stayed too which I'm sure they weren't too happy about on a Sat afternoon but they did! The facility is brand new, clean and impressive. Dr. Alex is available by e-mail and reaches out when he's not in the office by phone as well. I can book my dog's appointments online and they're super helpful and open. Great vet.
The most amazing staff. Incredibly compassionate and supportive. My older dog had passed away and they could not have shown more empathy. Taking my younger dog there for annual care because they meant so much to me to know that they care about animals so deeply. I didn't expect such a personal connection in such a big city. Thank you for the unexpected but appreciated comfort.
I will NEVER go anywhere else! I found a lump on my pup on a Sunday morning and started looking for a clinic. I wasn't sold on Blue Pearl because they tend to be VERY expensive and kind of cold. Luckily, my friend told me about Pure Paws a few months ago and they have Saturday and Sunday hours!!!! The ladies at the desk were lovely as was the Dr's asst and Dr Schechter!
