Great location, just across from Carnegie Hall. Clean with high ceilings and modern ambience, and a great looking bar I will go to next time. Service was lackluster, with inattention to detail and indifference to questions. For midtown though, a good place to stop in to a place with a varied menu, and prices that are affordable (for NY).
Good food, good service, good wine - can't ask for anything better than that!
Sat at the bar for cocktails & apps - they made great drinks, apps were delicious, service was attentive but not too much & everything was comfortable. They had live piano music too! Will def be going back.

We were so happy to find a spot that offers seafood, sushi, and steak all on one menu—it’s a combination you don’t see often. The seafood was the absolute standout; the oysters, lobster, and shrimp were incredibly fresh and prepared with expertise. Not being familiar with the Redeye Grill, I imagined it as a sort of Honky Tonk venue. Boy was I surprised! Very impressive, classy restaurant. And being seated at a window table facing Carnegie Hall didn’t hurt. The service was expedient and friendly and the food delicious for a price that did t break the bank. If we are in the Times Square area again, we’ll be re-visiting the Redeye Grill.

The duck was superb, and the crab cakes were very good, but needed some more crab meat. The service was above reproach and always on time.
