First of all, I like to sit in the main dining room. They only had 4 tops in the middle and on the peripheries were 2 tops. I don't like that at all. Why? As we sat in a dimly lit area not far from the bar, you had no way to get the attention of the wait staff, which I needed on a few occasions. You just had to wait until your waitress came back. We went before a show. We made the reservation several weeks in advance and arrived early for our time. Despite the resturant being nearly empty, when we arrived, they sat us in a far back corner and we had to flag down a waiter to order. The cod was delicious, but the halibut dry and unremarkable. Over all a mediocre restaurant in a city with other amazing options. No need to eat here, other than close to shows.

Enjoyed a special evening with dear friends which ranged from a true New Yorker to someone who had never been to NYC. I was a seasoned diner so I showed them the chocolates with peanuts right at the hostess desk. This put everyone in a good mood. They also loved the warm chocolate chip cookies being passed around at the end of the meal! It was crowded and service a little slow but we eventually got everything we ordered. The seafood tower was one of our favorites!

Great location across the street from Carnegie Hall and close to City Center. The food is delicious and the service is excellent. They have best banana cream pie‼️It’s not cheap but well worth the money.
