Yelena deserves all the praise for making our experience at Red Eye Grille memorable and sincerely a wonderful time. Earlier in the evening I asked my girlfriend now fiancé to marry me at the Met. I chose to take her to Red Eye Grille because we have always passed it and have gotten a kick out the tag line “Home of the Dancing Shrimp”. I made the note in Open Table for “post engagement dinner.” We are grateful we got to dine and enjoy our evening with excellent steak frites and wine. Plus the live piano.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had a perfect date night at Redeye Grill after a fantastic evening of jazz at Lincoln Center. The entire experience was outstanding from start to finish. The service was warm and attentive, the atmosphere lively, and the food exceptional. We were especially thrilled to find Blue Point oysters on the menu—such a treat given how scarce they’ve been this year. Redeye Grill delivered on every level and made our night truly special. Highly recommend!

Service was subpar. Did not check back with us once food was delivered to table. Did not come to take additional drink orders. Food was very good but service put a damper on things.

The brunch was delicious, especially the bottomless Bellinis/Mimosas (great value). The lobster Mac n’cheese was delicious and plentiful. The omelet was tasty, unfortunately it wasn’t as large as I expected. Of course, my husbands burger didn’t disappoint. Our server, Dean David, was FANTASTIC! He anticipated our needs and didn’t rush us as we leisurely enjoyed ourselves. It’s one of our NYC favs and we always stop by when we’re in town.

Genuinely had an amazing time with my girlfriend, only thing I'm upset about is the overpriced steak I was served that was about the size of a toddler's hand. Paid $64 dollars for about 6 bites.
