This restaurant never disappoints in offering quality food and service. The ambience is lively, comfortable and inviting with its large rounded booths and friendly staff who are eager to serve and be at your beck and call throughout the meal from cocktails to dessert. Everyone enjoyed the food ordered whether seafood, sushi, steak and the various side vegetables. The dessert is not to be missed. It is their homemade banana pie with huge chunks of fresh bananas and fresh whipped cream.
Having enjoyed the restaurant for dinner for a number of years, we decided to try Brunch. The food, as always, very good. We did have a problem with service. It seems, that scheduling was off, and there was insufficient amount of wait staff to deal with the number of guests.
Good menu choices, attentive service and reasonable prices. Across the street from Carnegie Hall is a plus.
Our visit to Redeye Grill was exceptional! From the moment we entered the restaurant we were promptly greeted and seated at our table by an energetic and attentive staff. The venue itself is very spacious with wonderful decor, a beautiful bar (which oddly enough, was empty) and a live band with a vocalist that performed a mix of contemporary and classic music. Service was ok but food took too long. The steak wasn't cooked properly (under cook). Overall was ok, nothing out of this world.
Haven't been here in years and had forgotten how special the Redeye Grill is. I plan on going back again very soon. The whole dining experience was delightful. The restaurant is just beautiful, the wait staff is very friendly, knowledgable and accommodating and the food is fresh and delicious . Overall, a wonderful dining experience!
When visiting NYC, we always dine at the Redeye Grill at least once. It's located in the heart of midtown and close to Central Park. The service and food are always outstanding. New this time was live entertainment. What a bonus! After eating we went over to the lounge area and had a great time singing along to familiar tunes. Great energy.
We dined at Reseye Grill because of a friend's recommendation and had a lovely evening. The staff was attentive and helpful, the food delicious and unique, and the live entertainment was exceptional! It was very convenient to our hotel, The Warwick, and we will likely come back when in NYC.
Very pleasant and relaxing. Food always good. In addition I left my detailed receipt and needed for my expenses. I called the next day and they quickly emailed it to me. Very responsive.
