This is my 4th visit to the 'Grill" and it was business as usual. Everything was on point! service food and the bill made the evening a winner! My date enjoyed her first time there. See you next time RG!
THE OVERALL AMBIANCE, SERVICE, ETC WERE SO CAPTIVATING, WE SPENT MORE TIME THAN ANTICIPATED. WATCHING PEOPLE COME AND GO WHILE WE WERE STILL SITTING AND ENJOYING THE EXPERIENCE.
I have been coming to The Red Eye for years. It is favorite when I am in the city. The service is always excellent and the food top notch. I recommend it to all my friends.

The service was not good. We waited almost 20 minutes for a waiter to take our drink order and almost as long for the drinks to arrive. The food was delicious except for a $10 order of what was limp french fries. Couldn't find the waiter to take them back.
Chef Jawn made us feel welcomed and at home ! We enjoyed the food and a shaded table outside. I had been here years ago with family but Chef has made it even better. I even tried two types of oysters that I usually refuse to eat; both oysters were so fresh and delicious that it changed my mind! We saw lots of business meals going on yet the hostess and staff treated the tourists among them just as well as a local!
Excellent food - great variety -- exceptional service.
The seafood is flown-in fresh daily and the menu has a number of varied options including poultry and steaks. The restaurant is spacious, airy and has high coffered ceilings and is located adjacent to Central Park and across the street from the rear of Carnegie Hall and adjacent to the subway.
Redeye Grill is one of my go-to restaurants when I want something that I know will always be excellent and the service is exceptional. The atmosphere is upbeat and having live music is a treat. There are some exceptional wine choices. Love to introduce new people.
