We have enjoyed many lunches and dinners. Fish always great. Servers friendly and accommodating. Will be back soon.
When we ordered the set price menu the waiter seemed less attentive. Food was okay to good. But the live entertainment, singer who screamed rather than sing, was just an awful experience.
We were lucky to stumble across this restaurant and we checked out their menu and decided to give it a shot. Not only did we have a phenomenal meal and experience we will be adding this to our NY list of spots. Great Food and Service and even the manager who stopped by to talk to us seemed extremely genuine in his hospitality. We will be back!
My friend and I met friends in from NC. They were staying in a hotel near the restaurant and having their luggage held there until after we ate. We arrived at noon and it wasn't crowded at all. Tables were not on top of one another, wonderful selection of brunch foods(IT WAS A sUNDAY) or off the regular menu. I had one of the best lobster rolls I have ever eaten. Two people had omelets that looked delicous and cooked as requested. The fourth person had a cobb salaD with salmon that was great. Service was terrific, no one rus... read more
just a joy - love the ambience and the food Very warm and friendly even in the vast space - my type of place.
My husband and I were spending the weekend in Manhattan to celebrate our Anniversary. This restaurant was between Lincoln Center, where we took in a show, and our hotel. We were given one pretzel roll each. It would have been better warm...and even better with mustard, Philly style. The shrimp cocktail my husband has was quite dramatic in its presentation, and my gazpacho was unusual and refreshing. Our steak, ordered medium rare, came out rare, requiring us to send it back. The onion rings were Delish. My only criticism was... read more
Everything, from the ambiance, high level of service and very tasty food -- we had a fixed-price trout dinner, which included a chopped salad and mouth-watering chocolate mousse for dessert. Super for pre-theater.
We came here last Saturday night around 9 pm. The restaurant was about half full. There was live entertainment on the bar side that was fantastic! He played the piano and sang but not too loud so we couldn't talk. I ordered off the prix fixe menu (salad, steak/frites, chocolate mousse cake) and my husband had a salad and steak. Food was delicious and steaks were cooked perfectly. Loved the idea of cotton candy (we passed) and freshly baked cookies being brought to the table after dinner. Nice touch. We'd come back!
Fantastic setting, delicious cuisine, friendly and efficient service. Notable food combinations. We had a great dinner experience.
