Have always enjoyed having appetizers at the bar & enjoyed dinner in the dinning room when dinning with a group, because we had a good table, but at this time, we were seated at a table for 2, squashed between 2 other tables for 2. We were so close to the other dinners, it felt like they were part of our party. It felt uncomfortable talking. I would understand getting a table like that if we were walk ins, but we had made reservations hours before.
Great food, only fair service...free little brownies and cookies for dessert.
Very warm and accommodating service, at all levels! Food was fine, cocktails delicious and ambience was informal yet classy! Highly recommend Redeye Grill!
The Redeye Grill is a winner all-around for couples or families - lunch or dinner. The menu is one of the most diverse and crowd-pleasing in Manhattan. Fabulous restaurant. We love the ambiance and the paintings on the wall. Service, food, all absolutely wonderful. Definitely a return trip.
This was our second visit to Redeye - it was even better than we remembered. The staff was very attentive - and professional. The food was fantastic - I had the special, which was a sea bass in a clay pot - excellent!
Great place to dine before a concert at Carnegie Hall. The waitstaff are very pleasant and efficient, the service is prompt, and there are quieter corners where you can actually have a conversation. The food is not overly salty and the prices, while high, are not ridiculous (unlike some neighboring restaurants). The menu is broad enough to accommodate vegetarians, not-very-hungry diners and of course seafood lovers.
Great food, great location, great staff!
on site manager was attentive; menu said potato pancake with eggs and bacon but did not come with meal
