Landlords that are using this app for new perspective tenants should be illegal. Landlords making people pay $40 for applications just to deny every one. This company is making millions by taking our hard earned money. If 100 people apply for a house and of course only one person will get it then they make $3960 for doing absolutely nothing. It's simple math and simple robbery.
Aside from how you verify your identification for the app, I have high hopes for it as an effective and simple way to communicate with your landlords/renters.

Terrible functionality
While the app isn't as intuitive as I'd like, it is convinient. Now that being said, there is problem with how late fees are being handled. In NY, where I reside, late fees are either legally only 5% of your monthly rent or $50 or whichever is the lesser amount. Currently the late fee for my apt is set at $50 per week late. This is highly illegal in New York state and needs to be addressed immediately as I cannot believe there is only this one landlord doing this.
Cant sign my lease due to the app not even having an option for file permissions.

I had downloaded the application and went through the process but errors popped up and I now have a duplicate profile and got locked out, so was left hanging no able to pay rent with this application, so did cash app QRcode scan. Poof no more problems.

I wouldn't use this app or company. I have been trying to use them as a landlord and has an issue with the background checks. Submitted call and talk to customer service and they told me they would reach out within 24 hrs. That was last week. Still no answer or email. Most of the things you pay for are a scam

If your landlord uses this app I don't advise you to fall behind on rent. Instead of one payment, it's broken down into sections and if you're late on one of those sections then it charges you by the day until you pay it. If youre late on 4 things and it's 6 bucks a day that's 24 bucks a day. 24 bucks a day for a week, that's $168 late fee that you have to pay on top of next months rent and bills. Don't fall behind on rent is all I can say.

I'm a tenant. I just signed a lease and tried making my first payment with this app for the security deposit. IMO the amount to send money via debit card was robbery. There are other cheaper options through other apps. A redeeming quality to this app may be that it reports on time payments? I'm wondering how, if this costs extra money, etc. I'll come back to update as I use it more.

We recommend using ACH as that fee is only $1. We do have an additional service that reports on-time rent payments to TransUnion!
