We have been to Bartolotta’s many times prior to pre-covid. This was a birthday celebration and COVID restrictions were in place. Our reservations were March 25, 2021. Ambience was great even with the barriers in place. This review is really about the food and our server. Our server tried to sell us the most expensive bottles of wine. The experience was completely unpleasant due to their Covid policy. We were treated every time the staff came to the table like our family had the Bubonic Plague:(. We will not be going back to one of our favorite restaurants until they take improve their Covid policy. Dining and being required to put your mask on while you’re still eating/drinking is very intrusive. The Bartolotta group has been a favorite of our families/business for years. I hope they return to their previous level of service/quality soon.
I am sorry to say that this Bartolotta restaurant was nothing to brag about. The food was not up to par as I thought it would be the soup was very watery ... and cold, the appetizer the plate must of been nuked in the microwave then served and was still cold?? My lamb meat was over cooked along with the other pieces of meat... the only thing that was OK was the pieces of sausage/sm pieces of potatoes... and the dessert was bad! Seasonal white truffle menu omitted family favorites (ragu and rigatoni) and upcharged on a so-called “enhanced value proposition delivery”. Felt that the prex-fixe was sprung on our party of five...and over $600 later. Would definitely check menu before bext visit. Service still near best-in-town.
The food had so much salt it was almost not able to be eaten.
Good was not good and badly overpriced.
Nice food, attentive but not overbearing service... overpriced in my opinion. Got talked into $100 truffles and they were definitely not worth it. $20 per glass for a Tuscan blend also seemed high. My Dad said when things start seeming overpriced, you are getting old. Hmmm.

You were required to order off of a fixed menu. There were few gluten-free options. Food quality was inconsistent. Some food was good, other not as good. With staff was very good and the ambience was nice. But overall the price of our meal was not worth what we ate.
