Drinks were not good. Should have noticed no one sitting at the bar for a before or after dinner drink. Our server was good, friendly, prompt and courteous. Food was good but I have had better. They should probably think about jamming one more table in the dining area, can barely navigate to go to washroom.
Understaffed that evening so service was only fair. Has been much better with previous dining.
Hard to recommend at all as there was a plumbing problem of some kind and our reservation was cancelled by the time we got to the restaurant.
Very unusual service experience. 7:15 reservation. Seated promptly, but had to ask for a wine list after being seated with no contact after 5 minutes. Ordered wine, still had no food menus. Asked for them and got them. Bread presented and placed on the table because no bread plates on table. Salad plates taken away and dessert menus presented immediately. Very inattentive as far as pouring more water and asking for drink refills. Servers were unfriendly. Caesar salad romaine not fresh. Desserts need to be revamped. Had linguine with clams. Pasta was too al dente and I bit down on a small clamshell that I thought was a piece of shaved garlic.
We had a late reservation on a Sunday evening due to having guests fly in from out of town. We assumed with a restaurant of this caliper, we wouldn't be rushed along or made felt unwelcome. We were wrong. It was embarrassing and quite uncomfortable in front of our guests who were expecting the Bartolotta experience they had heard about. It's a shame to have to mark this restaurant off our rotation for such important business dinners.
The salmon was grossly over cooked. Rest of meal excellent
Food was delectable as usual. We were here for a milestone birthday celebration on a Wednesday night. For a weeknight there were several tables open until half way through and then they were full. Unfortunately despite having two servers for our table our service on this visit was highly lacking. We ordered a second set of drinks/wine shortly before our main course arrived and we completely finished our meals without our beverages so ended up chasing down a server to cancel the drinks. First poor meal ever here. The spicy lobster spaghetti was not spicing just salty. the temperature of the dish wasn't even warm. I didn't say anything since my wife would have been very upset if I complained.
