We had a reservation for weeks and still ended up waiting 10 mins, while other people came in and sat right down. The hostess was not nice at at, and the whole vibe was not good. We were celebrating my husbands birthday and he did not have a good time at all, no privacy at all. Then half way through our dinner one of the hostess's came up to us to ask that we move to another table because they had a group of 4 that needed to sit down, how rude. Service was great. It was very loud in the restaurant. My chicken had no taste, very bland. The Salmon was over cooked and dry. Be careful where you park. We parked at the parking lot across from the restaurant and had to pay $25.00. Ridiculous.
We had asked for a nice table when we made the reservation 10 days in advance. We were seated at the entrance where people were standing at the bar and entrance. They were staring at us while we ate and standing a foot away. Uncomfortable! The server brought a martini up instead of on the rocks and brought my friend the wrong order. It was so loud he probably couldn't hear her order. The food was delicious and they were attentive.
We love Bartolotta restaurants and were excited to try Ristorante. The ambiance was wonderful and the bartender was great when we had a before dinner cocktail. We sat down to eat and had two different servers. They were both kind but not overly friendly or helpful. My favorite restaurant- we go there whenever we can. Last night we brought friends ona double date. Every step of the experience the service was terrible, a large rock was served with my dry pasta, my cappuccino was cold by the time my very small serving of dessert was served, the waitress was unpleasant, and our bill was incorrect. Could a $400 meal get any more painful?
The table service was terrible. Our waiters were usually never there when we wanted them. I like Bartolotta's restaurants. I have not been to Ristorante Bartolotta in several years, and I will never go back to that restaurant.
We arrived for our reservation at 7. Our waiter introduced himself and brought us water and the wine list. He didn’t return for half hour to take our drink order. Bread was delivered to the tables on either side of us. My husband and I sat with our wine list and waters. Waiting. Waiting. Waiting. Cramped as hell. WAY too expensive. Waitresses didn’t seem happy to be there. Just not a good experience
First time enjoyed the restaurant food and service. Disappointed made reservation weeks ago had less then desirable table for 2 just outside the bathrooms.
