At first the service was wonderful. After our entrees were brought to us we were completely ignored. The food was delicious but the service was very disappointing.
I'm a big fan of ALL the Bartolotta's restaurants. I've been a member of their Preferred Loyalty Program for many years as well. The wine list is notable and their menu has mostly been spot on. Sorry to say, I was a little disappointed in my last trip to Ristorante Bartolotta. My guests enjoyed their meals and I made the mistake of ordering the Langostines. There was a large party seated about the same time we were seated - and the service at our table suffered. Had to ask for bread since they forgot to deliver to our table. Disappointing as in past had always enjoyed this restaurant.
I had not been to this Bartolotta in awhile and had a large business group from NY which I brought to the restaurant in Tosa. I was quite disappointed, mostly in the service which was very slow and inattentive. The food was fair, but overpriced, compared to other good restaurants in Milwaukee. The food was good, but a bit overpriced for what you actually get. It is a VERY noisy place, be prepared to sit close to your neighbor tables.
We always have a wonderful meal at Bartolotta's. I have to say that the service was not as good as we have enjoyed in the past. For the price (quite pricey), one expects much more attentive service.
Spent thousands here annually and last three times the restaurant was so cold and drafty everyone had to wear their coats.
