I am very impressed by the care provided by Ruckland Court. Throughout her residency, my mother was always treated with respect and professionalism. All the staff were so consistently friendly to both my mother and her friends and relatives alike. She had a very long and fulfilling life and Ruckland Court provided a wonderful environment for her final years. My mother is looked after very well and with compassion. She is happy to have so many friendly staff on than 24-hours a day.

Continue to be very impressed with the running of Ruckland Court in general, but in particular, the care and compassion shown to our relative whose health and condition is slowly deteriorating. Value the regular communication during this difficult period. We have confidence in the staff and our trust.

My family member's flat is very nice, with some of their own belongings from home to make it more personal. The care and understanding is excellent, even when times can be challenging. I am always being told what good food choice there is each day and that activities take place daily with staff support to join in. Because of Covid-19, I have not seen my family member but they are able to phone at any time they wish. Staff phone to keep me informed and let me know what my family member needs. I have recently and unexpectedly required a placement for my father. This has been made more difficult given that we are only just coming out of 'lockdown'. The manager could not have been more helpful in this quest, not to leave out the maintenance man, indeed all the staff I came into contact with. The rooms provided, are second to none in that they replicate a home for the residents and not just a room in a care home. Very good residential home with the excellent caring staff at all levels. The home generally is in need of some renovation/updating thought. The residents are well treated and cared for and are in particular treated with dignity.

The care for my sister is excellent, the staff are kind and caring with a smile on their faces. The support they gave me in my sister's last illness was wonderful with their love and kindness and nursing pulled her through. Thank you.

Mum has been a resident for 2 years. I am very happy with all aspects of care offered by the home. It is very family-friendly and the staff always are approachable. Mum has settled in well and loves living in the home. She is always treated with dignity and her choices of care respected. I have peace of mind that she is well cared for.
