They literally make every excuse possible to not do the job we pay them to do. They also literally couldn't care less about you as a customer. Trash cans only partially emptied because they use the automatic arm and it won't work to completely empty the can. They charged us $30 to remove a recliner, but then refused to remove it. Paid over $700 for 5 months. Bi weekly pick up, smallest container. The rate is 75 per month. Do the math! Awful

Canceled service and my cans have sat out on street 2 full weeks, had service for 6 years and never again just went from paying $160 a quarter to $70 but leaving this review due to their slow response collecting their trash can which is making my property look trashy.

Called Rumpke to cancel my service since I sold my house. I was told to leave the cans on the street and they would pick them up in 7-10 days. I explain my HOA does not allow that and the new owners do not want the cans sitting in front of their home for two weeks. They told me they have an agreement with my HOA so it was okay. Since I was on the HOA I know that is not true. After ten days and the cans are still not picked up I call again but the rep could not care less. Same story now another 7-10 days. Went outside to bring in my garbage cans this morning and realized my lid was missing. Called Rumpke about the issue they they were rude and unhelpful. If I mail in my receipt for a new can they will give me $25 back for a $60 can. Or I can pay $3.50 a month to rent one. Not happy but stuck with Rumpke.

The customer service is seriously god awful. We just moved into a new house. They say I can put 1 bag out on the curb until I get my trash can. I get the can, now they take everyone else's trash in a 7 house radius on both sides of my house, but skip mine? Then I call to find out why and where my recycling bin is, no apologies. Just that you didn't sign up for one and it will arrive in 7 to 10 business days. I was supposed to get it 7 to 10 business days ago! Scam artists. Literal scam artists. They have been charging me for 2 cans on my account and I only had 1. They charged me for 6 months for an additional can. I called to have it fixed and was hung up on several times and never called back. I finally called to cancel them and they asked me to have the can sit out by the road. Worst service ever! Have had to call them 4 times in the 5 weeks I've been a customer. Trash can that was supposed to be picked up a month ago is still sitting in my driveway. Most reps I speak to have no empathy. I'm sure I won't be keeping them long.

Not sure about how much responsibility the drivers have, but the driver on Shepard Rd. on Wednesday left 2 boxes of trash in the culvert in front of our house that was knee deep in slush. They were on top of the trash cans and were heavy enough not to blow off. I reached them myself without getting my feet wet so Im not sure why he couldnt. Gonna take 2 people to lift the soggy stuff in the trash cans next week when another week of trash gets crammed in them. Pretty lazy.
