I was concerned about working with a mortgage company I hadn't heard of before. And there isn't a ton of information on Rushmore out there. But on the whole I've been pleased with every contact I've had with Rushmore. Every time I've had a problem making a payment, or some other concern, everybody at Rushmore was genuinely interested in helping me. My biggest complaint is communication. Great customer service agent. Very knowledgable and pleasant, got me info I needed and sent me on my way.
Rushmore Servicing charged me an entire month of interest after my loan was being paid off — and refuses to correct it. I am extremely disappointed with Rushmore Loan Management Services. I sold my property and my mortgage was being paid off through the closing. Despite the loan being paid off in the middle of the month, Rushmore charged approximately an entire month's interest and has refused to refund the portion that accrued after the payoff. IF I believed that the answer would change the outcome of future experiences I would say but having dealt w/Rushmore these last 7 years I would say the experience gets WORSE and WORSER
The gentleman I was working was one of the most patronizing people I have ever worked with. He acted like every time we asked a question that it was such a massive inconvenience to him. The loan is paid off and my hope is I never have to work with this company in the future.
