The Salt Cellar is a Valley landmark restaurant, serving fresh seafood since 1971! Sourcing fresh from across the country as well as outside this country. i.e., Ora King Salmon from New Zealand. They fly in whole live Maine lobster and open them table side for their guests. Their fresh fish includes halibut, Chilean sea bass, Florida grouper, ahi as well as George’s Bank sea scallops and #1 white Mexican shrimp.

What an amazing concept We were told to visit the Salt Cellar for excellent fresh seafood. We pull up to the restaurant and the building is extremely small but the parking lot is good size and full. We looked at each other and said, is it underground? Sure enough you walk in and immediately walk down three flights of stairs to a good size...
AMAZING SEAFOOD RESTAURANT Amazing seafood - fresh lobster and so well cooked, atmosphere is very homely and great staff - steak if you want it but to be honest with lots of steak houses in the Phoenix area this is the one to go to if you love your seafood - first class once again !

A Great Happy Hour Menu! Wish we had room for dinner We found Salt Cellar quite by accident and were so pleased we did! It is tucked away below ground, but has a sunroof and lots of ambience. Valley staple frequented mostly by locals This is a great place to go for happy hour--can't beat the deals on oysters and other bar food. An underground restaurant with lots of old-school style. Good place to take a date, bring someone for a birthday, or do a family dinner.
