The Salt Cellar is a Valley landmark restaurant, serving fresh seafood since 1971! Sourcing fresh from across the country as well as outside this country. i.e., Ora King Salmon from New Zealand. They fly in whole live Maine lobster and open them table side for their guests. Their fresh fish includes halibut, Chilean sea bass, Florida grouper, ahi as well as George’s Bank sea scallops and #1 white Mexican shrimp.

Interesting venue - good food We learned tonight that this place was built in the early 1970s. Original owner dug a deep hole and built an underground restaurant. Current owners have operated the restaurant since the late 80s. Obviously, the location is unique and worth a visit. The food (seafood) is their specialty. They do a great job. Dinner with friends This is a unusual restaurant it is a cellar underground, very good service , very good seafood, they even crack you're crab legs for you, slightly high for the price but worth it and all the sides are included.
