While vacationing in Florida, took our Avalon in for it's 60k mile service. When I picked the car up, there was grease and oil all over the floor mat, which they cleaned only after I told them to. I really liked our salesman Mark as he was very patient and not pushy at all. I had researched cars for the past 3-4 months and had come to a decision on a new Camry se. Mark took his time and showed us everything on the car and explained the new features of the 2012 model. When it came down to talking money with a manager though, they wouldn't really work with me. We had bought our daughter a new Corolla and the service was great at that time, but then when we took her car in for service it was a different story. What happened to all the customer service once the sale was made. This was only the second time we had taken her car in for service, and it will be the last. David Maus service department is such a rip off. I had my Sienna serviced at 97,000 including timing belt and water pump which they recommended replacing while the timing belt was replaced. 37,000 miles later they told me my water pump was leaking and needed replacing. Really? I picked up the car and took to another Toyota dealer in the Orlando area. Guess what I did not need a water pump it was not leaking. Never again! I went in to have body work done on my vehicle, they did not finish the job in the time that was given to me. I had to go back over 3 times to get things fixed, the paint they use did not match the collar of my vehicle and last but not least they didn't care at all!!
Having researched the FJ Cruiser for 3 months, we did our on-line research and came ready to make a cash purchase. The MSRP apparently rose from mid-$28,000 to $34,000 as a result of the tsunami. When buying a new or used vehicle: Every promise that is made from floor mats to the number of keys it is supposed to come with, do not believe any thing that is not in writing!! The promises that were in writing were taken care of right away the ones that were not were forgotten about and they will not honor them. I bought my first car from them when I was 16, I came back to buy my first car on my own but was disappointed with the selection and the staff. very bad dealership i lease a car with them and they try to sell me the warrtenty on the car i bought it . but afterward i want to refund it . i drove there sign the refund form . one month later i call the mpp people they said they do not have got the form from dealership. i call david maus , they can not find the form i sign . very bad service overall do not buy anything extra from financing people they are not nice ,only know money money ,they do not care about the guest need .
