Tacoma transmission Said rhey serviced my transmission....but the day after i grr it back from them, it is shifting bad and vibrating again. I just took it in for a bad spring in the drivers seat, yup...quality is xxxx....and i complained about the transmission again. Advisor told me its a sealed transmission and they dont check fluid...i specifically asked them to open and check fluid because of a known problem the factory did not properly fill transmissions. Dishonest Finance guy gave a maintenance agreement, no charge to sweeten my deal. He actually charged me 920.00 for it in contract. I didn't know because I didn't go over it, my fault for being stupid. When I called the dealership to address this issue I was ignored by general manager and finance guy lied about why I was charged for it after telling me he was giving it to me for no charge. Most dishonest dealership. I've never been taken advantage of like this before.
Takata airbag recall - no parts , all excused with your life Received a recall notice back in may 2016 for takata air bag recall for my daughter'' s 2009 Toyota Corolla . Immediately brought vehicle in to replace defective airbags - was advised no parts available & would be contacted when it was . Fast forward to 6 months later .. still no parts & no idea when they will be available ... could be April 2017 or later ! Not a good experience I went to David Maus Toyota look at a Tacoma. At first, my salesman John McCain was OK, as was his manager, Johnny. Told them I was shopping and would not buy that day. Of course their job is to get me to do just that. I did drive a TRD 4x4 and felt they tried to get me a good price, but it was still out of what I set to spend as I really wasn't shopping a 4x4. I was treated like dirt by the collision ctr representative I felt very bad about how I was treated by one of the female employees at David maus collision center She called my phone yelling at me. Talking over me and hung up on me. I had never met her before in my life. I felt so hurt, I tossed and turned in my sleep for days. Poor customer service I tried to get a Saturday service appointment today. I tried on line and you can no longer make weekend appointments and not with the phone app either. I called to make an appointment and was told that I would get a call from a service adviser an no one called back. I had body work done after an accident and the fasteners are falling out of the inner wheel well. The worst service place I bought a volkswagen there and went for oil change THE CAR WAS WITH NO PROBLEM AND AFTER THE SERVICE THE CAR HAS SOMETHING WRONG THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON and they make me go to the Volkswagen dealer because they don't know it. And I HAVE TO PAY FOR IT
Terrible negotiation back track from sales team Negotiating my trade-in and cash out the door for a 4runner limited, no financing, just title and a check. After showing my trade, negotiations went on over a few days, until the salesman texted a price out the door. I called and confirmed the number, texted the VIN # of the 4runner to be sure before I cut the check and grabbed the title to drive out there, when the salesman backtracked on the number, and not by a little. Bad a/c & zak tek is a scam Musty a/c smell from date of purchase. No help to remedy. Few appts. avail for zak tek which causes warranty to expire. Shoddy dealership.
