Their All The Same I thought the David Maus experience would be different based on his TV ads. TV ads are expensive, and guess who pays for them? The consumer, don't ever forget that. It all starts with the friendly sales guy who makes you feel welcome and treats you like your his long lost friend or relative. This my second 2-hr oil change: in at noon, out at 2. First, you can't get a service manager. Then, you can find your car. I have 3 Toyotas. They will never see this dealership ever again.
Oil change took more then 2 hours. If you want to come for oil change at David Maus Toyota that the only thing u can put in your day planner.
I have had a horrible experience at Daivd Maus Collision Center. Geico recommended I go there after an accident to fix my car. They did not keep me up to date on how my car was doing for two weeks and after receiving my car back from them my car came back in worse shape than it was when dropped off. Now that my car is not working properly, and has many saftey hazards due to the repair, the customer service representative said it is not there problem and it wasn't accident related. Called for a quote for a synthetic oil change, was quoted $61.00. Another Toyota Dealer quoted me $65.00, so I go to David Maus, the first problem was waiting for someone to help me when there are all kinds of employees standing around, two guys with ear coms walk by and don't even say someone will be right with you, finally a service person shows up and I ask for an oil change(synthetic), They took my truck did an oil change and when i went to pay it was $96.00. when i ask why it was not $61.00 was told they used a more exp... read more
The first 2 people I delt with were GREAT, then they put me with Tim who basically called me a liar and said that my friend could not have gotten the rate I told him. If you are a woman stay away from this dealership.
I purchased Toyota cammry 2011 in 09/2011. I was noticed a musty mildew smell coming out from the AC vent. I took the car back more then 3 times with the same problem. They take a look at it and told me " there is nothing we can do". I was every disappointed that they did not fix the problem. I called Toyota customer service and talked to someone about the problem. They told me that " there is nothing that we can do" and what happen with " What ever it takes to earn your business" Davids Maus said that himself!!!!!!!!
Much like everyone else when you purchase a vehicle from David Maus you are treated quite well and made to feel special. All that will change however should you ever have an issue that will cost that dealership money. Come time to have my Tundras tires rotated and balanced I considered having the dealership do the work. I was also having a Nitrogen tire fill done at this time which will be discussed later in this letter. Stay away from this dealership! They seem very friendly at first, which can be very misleading, but trust me..they WILL take you for a ride! DO NOT give them ANY deposit until you see the car!!! DO NOT be fooled by their friendliness..they will lie, deceive and play you any way they can to take your money..BEWARE! Most importantly, if they don't have the car you are looking for on their lot..DO NOT sign ANYTHING and DO NOT give them any money.
