Our quite new Sorento wasn’t heating properly. At idle or when stopped it only blew cold air. It’s December in the prairies, but no problem. We can book an appointment for service at our dealership. We each drove the half hour there and we dropped our Sorento off for the problem to be analyzed and repaired. We drive a solo vehicle back. Three half hour trips, but these were expected. There was a customer not wearing a Mask and everyone else was , why wasn’t she told to put her mask on that was given to her in the store. Otherwise I was treated very well there.

Whenever I have an appointment I end up waiting for over an hour usually 2 hours! That does not impress me because if I go to Jiffy Lube etc. It takes about 20 minutes, so if I have an appointment I expect to be outta there a lot sooner!

I had to take my car in three times to get air conditioning fixed. One time it was not repaired because they ordered wrong part. Also they said it would take 1-2 hours. It it 4 hours. I take medication and was suffering because I did not bring enough with me for that timeframe. Needless to say it is a brand new car and the air conditioning should have been tested before car sold. There is a service fee for checking it out or is that just a lie.

We did not witness your team act together. Your team constantly gave us mixed messages even when we clarified our needs several times. We set out clear guidelines for the type, kind, mileage and cost of the vehicle we were seeking. The first two cars did not meet our criteria and the last one meet the 1st three criteria but was $3000 over our budget.

I was happy enough. Logan was very pleasent and happy to answer, help or find a solution to any issues we had. Sam in finance was very pleasent, personable and easy to deal with and the manager Scott was very accommodating and pleasent as well. Any issue that arose from the sale (mainly my issue with our insurance company) was taken care of by the three above to make sure I could have my vehicle when promised and to be able to drive my vehicle legally on the road until my insurance company could get Thier act together. When I purchased my Sorento they said they would include 12 free oil changes at Sherwood Kia -great we thought. Now when we go in for a free oil change they say we have to pay for a maintenance servicing. First was free great - next $200 and some and this time near $400. Seems a lot to pay for free oil change. Kia is a great car and doesn’t need any real work for a long time. Well, I was told my oil change would take 2 hours with the recall, and 4 hours later, I got a phone call it was done. No one told me that the tires were rotated, and needed the lugs tightened, I read that in the bill that night. I was supposed to get a complimentary car wash, and lo and behold, it wasn’t done either. Disappointed this time, Sherwood Kia.
