Functional attractive design and beautiful material choices
Love my house. Well laid out. Laundry room is smaller than I would like and shelves are too high for an older woman.

I have a couple of jobs, but one job was in insurance as an underwriter for commercial accounts. Most general contractors that do tract homes like Smith Douglas, Lennar, and Adams Builders typically in the past, I have always found they didn't have the same quality as a custom home builder. I will be honest, I was proven wrong with the home we purchased from Smith Douglas. This is very high quality. I feel like there's no guidance from whoever is doing the installation, whether it's flooring, even landscaping, or inside. I feel like they slap stuff together. I have screws coming out of the woodwork in my cupboards, and the flooring was cut up, and they just put it down anyway. The sod they just slapped down over, and there is all kinds of garbage in the yard. I had to move the plants and bushes already because they barely put them in the ground and covered them up with pine straw. Nobody looks back or checks up on them.... read more
