My contract was cancelled because Smith Douglas said my time expired to get financing with Movement Mortgage. I received an email saying they were keeping my $11,500 I put down as good faith funds. I tried explaining the situation I was having with their preferred lender but it fell on deaf ears. I contacted my lender from my previous house and he had me pre-approved in 24 hours and convinced SD to reinstate my good faith funds because I did nothing wrong. With my old lender I closed in 21 days on the house I initially began... read more
The agent was great, however they should have paid more attention to detail in the home.
