Nice place This was a very nice hotel for the money. The food is excellent and the staff is great. the only problem(s) were: The flowers they have in the lobby attracts a lot of small flies that are constantly bothering you. They are like little knats. The other problem was that they said the room had WiFi. I bought a weeks worth and when it didnt work, I called the front desk and after a few minutes they told me that you could only get internet in the lobby (it was free). Udemærket hotel Dette hotel er udemærket. Dog bliver man kraftiigt opfordret til at deltage i et salgsmøde hvor de temmelig vedholdende forsøger at sælge en time-share lejlighed. Det tager næsten 3 timer og afvisningen tog de ikke så pænt. Tag ikke imod tilbudet om en time-share. Hotellet er børnevenligt med god legeplads, lavt og stille vand i lagunen, nogenlunde aktiviteter og god madbar.

Good time This resort is more family and couple-orientated. It is a great place to find a peaceful spot in Cancun, and has the benefits of the more crowded/busy hotels when you visit the sister resort, Royal Sunset. The staff was wonderful, and took great care of us. We were a little disappointed that we had booked a Junior Jacuzzi Suite, when they really don't have any. They "upgraded" us to a One-bedroom Jacuzzi Suite (which we heard happened to a few others), but the jacuzzi was outside and not very clean. We never used i... read more

Happy but Perplex was very happy; got fast service when needed,only problem was forced to hear about buying vacation time share.was unaware of this when booking vacation.

Oldie but a goodie While the Sunset Lagoon is an older resort, it was still quite nice and very clean. It only offered one bar and the buffet and Italian restaurant. It was quiet and comfortable with access to the beach at the Sunset Royal by boat or shuttle. We enjoyed our stay.

Great food, drinks, location and service! The rooms were nice, but the real value was in the service and setting of the resort. The staff were great, food was delicious and drinks kept flowing. We would definitely recommend it here!

I got what I paid for! The main issue was with the staff; not real friendly. They could hardly understand English. Though the package I booked was an "All-Inclusive", I decided to tip anyone that helped me with 20 Pesos or more. The service never got better. The price I paid reflected the value...I guess. I will do more research the next time.
