Royal sunset resort in cancun mexico This resort was good except that i book a room with jacizzi and it wasnt in the room..
All Inclusive Fun I used this hotel because I a recommendation a friend gave me that had stayed there many times before. I loved my stay there. The rooms were all suite-type rooms and the all inclusive ammenities were wonderful. The hotel had a lot for us to do, shows each night, and very helpful service when doing thinghs outside of the hotel. The food left something to be desired, the buffett was never really good. Room service food wasn't bad.
All inclusive but less perks We went on a bike tour we also ate at the buffet and snack bar. Although we enjoyed the food they were lacking nightly entertainment. The front desk staff were very brief and not to friendly was not very informative. The staff at Sunset Lagoon did not speak much english which made communication ineffective. In other places that we stayed they were able to speak English fluently. If you stay at Sunset Lagoon it is good to know basic spanish. Know what you are getting! We recently stayed at the Sunset Lagoon for a 6 day period in the middle of July. We stayed in a junior suite which looked different online compared to in person. No complaints really about the room or the cleanliness of the room. But, that is all that it is, a room. Being all-inclusive all of our food and drinks were covered, or so we thought. Not impressed, because the room I see online it look so beautiful when I been there I feel not excit Front desk people couples not good service and not too nice. Waiters, waitress and cleanliness of the room are verry good service and nice.
Not what was promised When we arrived at the hotel after 13 hours of travelling we were immediately accosted by a "concierge" before we were allowed to have our room key. She said she wanted to explain the amenities but what she was really doing was booking a reservation for a time share presentation.
