It was a pleasant trip through the redwoods. The singing conductor was very enjoyable.
We had such a great time! Friendly staff and easy to do! I would love to do it again and take the longer trip. Anyone can do it since it has a motor if you get tired.
We did the rail bike and we loved it! What a beautiful scenic route! And what an interesting rail bike! The two tour guide ladies were wonderful! The chocolate croissant and the apple juice at the Turnaround point. were also excellent!
Beautiful ride through the Redwood so much history staff is fantastic. it is a must do if you're in the area. it's very dog friendly. the drinks in the bar were very well priced and strong. the bonfire was a good plus because it did get chilly at the end
When I was a little girl my daddy worked for Northwestern Pacific Railroad there at the Willits station ! He worked there for years with gentlemen like Mitch Hookins (Ernie Hookins dad) and Herman Rutler (Darla Rutler dad I’m sure)! They worked in the same exact place where we buy tickets for the skunk train. I was able to ride free back in those days and it wasn’t nearly as big as it is now. At that time it went all the way to Fort Bragg. Well now into 2026 I took my grandson on it! He loved it and ... read more
This has become an annual event for 6 of us. We camp in Ft Bragg every year and the skunk train is a must do. Easy to book….that said…book early as it fills up fast. You can bring food but no alcohol. There is a bar and food is available to purchase. They have live entertainment. A covered area and an open area surrounding fire pits. Scenery is beautiful.
We went for a 69th birthday and the entire staff was amazing! The owner sang to my friend. Boarding the train we were greeted by the conductor and the doorman. The music was amazing around the fire pit under the stars. I would recommend everyone try the Skunk Train!
We had an absolutely great time! So fun to get to do while traveling with my pup and that it was dog friendly! The music was great, the ambiance was chill. Would absolutely recommend!
