Located in Northern California’s Mendocino County there is a skunk running through the redwood forest, but this isn’t any skunk, it’s the world famous Skunk Train. The California redwoods, pristine coastline, and award winning vineyards are all a part of the landscape of what makes Mendocino County such an amazing place and home to this 131-year-old train.

Choo Choo! Thank you so much for joining us and posting this wonderful photo - we hope to welcome you aboard again soon!❤️🚂
We have been to Fort Bragg several times and this was our 1st trip on the Skunk train. We were lucky enough to be here for the Days of Steam! It was so fun to have the train pulled by a steam engine.
We took Skunk train out to Glen Blair bar. We had a great time what a cool experience taking the train out to the bar
It is a beautiful trip. I just wish the restrooms were not full to the top and cleaner. It’s a long trip to town.
Such fun! We took our adult children and our grandchildren. It was the first time for our grandchildren and we all had so much fun! We especially loved the new and beautiful recreation area that the train stops for 45 minutes. It’s a trip that everyone should experience at least once!
My mom and I had a blast and we can't wait until till we can go on the longer Skunk trail with the tunnel. They told us maybe 3-5 years but we will sure be back for that one. The games and trail was nice. Our two dogs even enjoyed the ride.
I have been on train rides in other places and this one was the best. The scenery was awesome. The staff were very nice and informative. We had a delicious sandwich. And we had a musically talented conductor who played the flute and guitar and sang to us. A very wonderful time!
Great experience! I loved it. We took the Pudding creek trip. Short but fun. Dog friendly. We had our two big dogs with us. One is a nervous Nelly and didn’t care for it, but one sat up in the seat and looked out the window. She loved it.
Such an amazing time! Everyone was kind and the atmosphere was great 😊 Can’t wait to go again and will recommend to everyone!
