Loved our Skunk Train Pudding Creek ride. Beautiful forests & a chance to hike a bit at the rest stop. Didn’t realize how short the actual train ride portion was but the trade off was a 45 min stop to hike a bit. The staff were very friendly & informative. Lovely gift shop, fun for kids. The model train museum behind the train depot was an added bonus to the trip.

What a wonderful evening! My wife and I took the Skunk Train to a magical destination in the woods called the Glen Blair Bar. We boarded the train in Fort Bragg and disembarked on a long deck in the trees that led us to an evening of entertainment. The live music was fantastic! We enjoyed marshmallows at one of the several fire pits. This was a great date night and I highly recommend it for couples and for families looking for a fun time together.

Had fun riding the Shunk Train on Saturday. Easy booking online, just showed our ID at the ticket window and we're on the train in a matter of mins. This would be a great trip.if you have kids. If you are like us and your kids are grown, you can purchase a dog ticket so no one's left out. 🐶

The page we bought our tickets from listed a personal charcuterie plate and custom souvenir “Whiskey Train” tasting glass. For $126 a ticket, we got paper plates to fill up from a buffet-like setup (we opted to skip because we were standing on the open car and didn’t want to drop anything) and a plastic cup with a small skunk decal. The site also mentioned a personal talk from a whiskey sommelier which sounded lik... read more
