The Christmas Skunk Train departing out of Willits exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend getting VIP passes. We had such a lovely time. Thank you so much for providing my family and I a wonderful holiday experience.
Every year we do a Christmas memory adventure. We have 7 adult children and 9 grandchildren. This year there was 21 of us. I have a 30 year old so with severe cerebral palsy. He is non ambulatory and is 100% wheelchair dependant. So this is something that I account for on our adventures. I contacted Richard and explained everything and asked if the train was wheelchair accessible and explained the depths of my sons disabilities and that he has to stay in his wheelchair. We rode the Skunk Train for the first time yesterday. We did the Christmas train. It was a little confusing for pick up of boarding passes and boarding for VIP. Would of been nice to have some direction of good places to sit etc being a VIP. But, the rest of the experience was great. They had the heaters on in the train cars, so if you run hot dress in layers. You ride the train to the tree. During the ride you start with cocoa (you serve yourself) and get a cookie. definitely enjoy the fact that people can bring their dogs with. I completely enjoyed people's company and camaraderie and the staff that you have very professional and very ready to answer any questions you might have for them and very pleasant. I highly recommend taking a ride on the skunk train to the Glen Blair bar.
Have taken the train multiple times and enjoyed every trip. Done the Fort Bragg ride as well as the Willits route. Personal favorite is the Willits side but both are great trips.
We took the rail bikes through the forest. It was an amazing trip and our guides, Johnny and Kyle were excellent (and funny) !
The experience is always pleasure & whether it’s sunny or rainy… it’s the best fun ever
I took my wife rail-biking for our 10th anniversary. We had the time of our lives!
