Such an enjoyable experience!! Our guides, Ethan and Ezra were great! There is an electric assist if you want a little help on the hills. Pack a lunch and go…… it was great!!

We rode the Skunk Train in Willets this weekend to see the Wolf Tree. It was very enjoyable and was well narrated along the way. We booked the 10:30am tour which was perfect, since the cars are not air conditioned. We got back to the station before it was too hot and went on to have lunch and a great rest of the day.

We went on the Music in the Redwoods trip and listened to a bluegrass band called Second Grass at the outdoor venue deep in the redwoods along Pudding Creek. It was a fabulous evening filled great music and a lot of happy people. The train to the venue is scenic and a bit nostalgic and the return trip in the dark was very cool with the moon pecking through the trees and the lights of the train lighting up the forest. Take a jacket. I highly recommend this trip.

Fun and beautiful scenic ride from the Willits station! We spent most of our time in the open-air car where we could see more of the view. All of the people working with the train are so courteous and helpful. It was a good experience and I’m glad we went.
