I really appreciated the calls from Aimee about how we were doing after my Mom’s death.
My 86 year old father died in December of 2020. He was one of the best people our family and wide circle of friends had ever known and everybody wanted the best for him. His health had deteriorated over years and at one point it became clear he was dying. As a family we made the decision to enroll him in at home hospice with Peace Hospice. We are so thankful we did! I was so thankful that THPC was able to accept my dad for hospice at the time they did. He was in more decline mentally and physically than it appeared to many caretakers. Our THPC social worker’s recommendation of a residential care facility was a Godsend. That was absolutely the best place for him to be in his final days.
The team who cares for my father Michael Leyva have been angels to us and just to our family in general. I am so blessed that my brother had referred us through the palliative care team and then he agreed to transfer Into hospice program. Everyone has been so caring compassionate and always reaching out to check on us. Thank you so much for all you do. You truly are angels and I can only hope that blessing for you and your families come your way. Thank you.
I absolutely love the way the nurses and aides answer all my questions and care for my mother truly with compassion. I would recommend to everyone I know in need.
My mother and I are very satisfied with the services provided by hospice nurse Monica is wonderful and very attentive to my mothers needs just very happy having her.
All of the people that we saw from start to finish were very professional, courteous, and committed to helping us. Our regular nurse Ellen was a great help to me in making decisions concerning my mother in getting the help she needed at the end as well as all throughout the time she came for her weekly visits.
