My mom, an 85yo lymphoma patient, had been distraught, tearful, and in pain, isolated in a nursing home, where we couldn’t see her (and still can’t) though her health and living situation has not really changed, the care provided by Peace Hospice has made her feel emotionally so much better she’s actually cheerful and mostly relaxed. I think that says a lot.
I was very thoughtful it how they to care my Wife and toward us and my family
Great and competent
Very professional staff; they were very attentive to our dad’s needs and listen to the family during difficult times. The staff was always checking on the family and made us Feel we were their priority.

Palliative Care 2023 - My mother at time 97, Team seemed caring along with Dr and director. Team was great. Even though my mom was admitted because of chronic heart failure, she paid the price of going to other Dr's to help with UTI and Stomach problems. Now stuck with high bills because palliative care wouldn't release payment for mom's urologist. Stomach pain so bad, had to be admitted to ER/Hospital (3Oaks would't release pament to ER). The lady I spoke to I thought was going to help us initially but she actually never came through. Tried to schedule to meet with her on many occasions and she came up with a reason every time to cancel on us. Don’t tell people you’re going to meet or tell us that you’re going to get a coworker to meet and then not do it! Thats unprofessional and uncaring. There were multiple RN case manager changes including within the 48 hours prior to my mother's death. Hospice did not provide any family education or practical preparation for my mother's death: No oxygen or suction, no comfort meds, no blue pads, diapers or mouth swabs. No preparation of the family or description of how to determine when someone enters a stage of actively dying. No anticipatory guidance.
