Once we had found a hospice company we thought that we would be taken care of. We met with the community liaison who reassured us we would be taken care of since we as a family was going to care for our mother with their help. From the first nurses visit none of us was very happy with the on-call nurse. She was dry and very callous. We received the E-comfort kit and then met with the nurse. This is when the problems started, we did not receive any equipment on time, the horse did not give us the supplies we needed either. My... read more

My experience with Three Oaks Hospice appears to be atypical, so consider this a “worst-case scenario" you hopefully won't experience. For my wife, dying of leukemia, and myself, Three Oaks Hospice was a bad decision that will haunt me for the rest of my life. After choosing hospice in a facility rather than at home, my wife was quickly shipped off to "the best facility you could ever want," which turned out to be a room in the Alzheimer's wing of a nursing home. We arrived on a Friday evening and discovered that there were... read more

Considering I fired your company 3 days before my husband passed, my review would be that your employees are unfit to take care of the dying!!!!

My wife has been in this hospice program for some time now. Through 9 RN's, and half a dozen CNA's. We signed on when it was Peace Hospice, before becoming part of Three Oaks. To say the organization is a disappointment would be too nice. It's got to be the worst hospice organization in existence. I cannot imagine a team of people who could care less about a patient. The one CNA has been a stalwart and if not for her I would have left long ago. I have talked to management, the executive director, and I get promises and apo... read more

At first every thing was good. As time progressd, the team got sloppy. Then un reliable. And when it came down to the last few days of my mother's life there was almost no support.

My mom was on hospice for less than a week before she died. We got a lot of attention from people who weren’t helpful, like the chaplain, and not much support from the people whose help we really needed, like the CNA and the RN.

Despite being told that my Aunt was to be discharged with follow up care arrangements made, she was discharged without having care in place and I was forced to fly into town to organize her care directly. At the same time, my frail Uncle was discharged and was diagnosed with cancer three weeks later.
