This is the second time I've taken my dog to thrive and I'm so happy with them. My dog had a dental cleaning and extractions and they pre quoted me $330-$415, which is reasonable! I dropped my pup off, within two hours they called me to update me on how everything went. When i went to go pick him up they rang me up and it was only $239!!! For them to charge me less than the quote is amazing! My pup was returned to me happy, and a vet tech answered all my questions! They are so sweet, we've found our forever vet! Dental Cleaning - I received multiple estimates from vets in the Austin area to have my dog's teeth professionally cleaned. He is a 6 year-old Maltipoo....his breath was AWFUL, lots of tartar, and I assumed he would need multiple extractions. I received quotes between $600-$1300 for an initial cleaning + extractions! I went to Thrive after I took my Tonkinese Cat to another vet who wanted to charge me over $1000 for care. We just moved here from Houston and noticed that the last couple of months our kitty was scratching the fur off of her neck and making herself bleed. We took her to Thrive and the vet set her up with a shot, 3 rounds of revolution and told us to go to our local Walgreens for meds. Eli (my sweet pup) and I love Dr. Stansell. She has done 2 rounds of puppy shots and netuered/removed dewclaws for Eli. She's very smart and informative and is always prepared to answer any questions. The place itself is very clean and all the vet techs that I have encountered have been extremely friendly. We can't wait to come back when Eli is full grown and needs his adult shots.
This is a great vet!!!! It's really nice and it actually is affordable. I went in to take my dog for her ears, they have seemed irritated. There was a bit of waiting but overall everyone was really nice and I got treatment for my puppy
Thrive has been our new vet for a little while, we've taken our dog in for regular checkups and shots. This last weekend our dog was super sick and this morning when I called they were able to squeeze me in! They are all super helpful and everyone is so nice! I would definitely recommend this little spot!
I have had great experiences with Thrive so far. I have been using them for routine things like vaccinations, heartworm tests, etc and the prices are really affordable. I moved here from Chicago and am paying half the prices. I haven't used Thrive for any health issues, but I do think if I had a larger health issue I would see another vet as you don't really get a lot of time to talk to the vets at Thrive. I think it is a great place for routine care and a great price!
