If you love your pets, do NOT bring them to this location!!! I took my elderly dog to get her teeth cleaned and I knew some teeth would need to be extracted. I let them know that at her age I'd like to keep as many as possible and had been proactive on brushing them, giving her teeth supplement powder on her food and how I've seen improvement, but I'm aware some teeth were already rotten. DONT take your pets here, go to ZippiVet down the street instead. Came in for my 9.5 year old bulldogs annual visit. I had a few health questions for the vet tech who brought him back out after his shots and eval who had zero answers for me. I never had any opportunity to speak to a VET. Once I left, I was called back in due to a positive heartworm test. We were very worried. They did not send labs out until 4 days later and had no answers for me on a protocol or plan on how to treat his heartworms and I STILL never spoke ... read more

Failed to give dog the 2nd of 2 vaccines that I then had to restart. Overcharged on services (only addressed when I raise the flag) Refuses to fill basic heartworm medication (even with updated vet records) The place is a dumpster fire. Don't take your pet here.

No one answered the phone for the curbside appointment that I scheduled (and I double checked this morning to make sure that they had me down for curbside) so I went in for my dog's appointment. The receptionist in the lobby wore her mask down over her chin with her mouth and nose uncovered. Thankfully there weren't a lot of people in the lobby. When I got a follow-up rabies vaccine at other clinics, it was good for five years. The tech there told me that vaccines given in some places were good for five years but Thrive's... read more

There are currently no rabies vaccines on the market in the United States that are approved for 5-year administration, including the state of Texas. We administer vaccines within the state and local requirements as well as following manufacturer guidelines. If you enjoy jumping through hoops to get services that you specifically asked for, then this is the place for you! I scheduled a visit that I was told would be $30, I leave paying over $150 for things that I did not request or even know I was paying for until it was already done. I scheduled my cat's appointment to get spayed (which was at minimum a month out from the "spay consultation" visit that I was told was $30) and upon arrival am told that I was scheduled wrong by the call center, which for some reason does all of t... read more

Overpriced and not exactly an affordable veterinary option. They don't have much in the way of treatments that they offer or technology on hand for involved care (anything more than trimming nails or cleaning teeth and you're probably out of luck here). Also, their bizarre handling of the covid situation by having you wait outside while they do the pet exam is just very weird. The products they do sell on hand are very expensive so you don't get any breaks here in terms of cost or treatment options.

SERIOUSLY: Do not take your pet here. I cannot stress this enough. Key points: - "Mis-aged" a kitten as a cat. - Said my cat was ALREADY FIXED when he was NOT. I found out today about two weeks later from a new vet! My cat had been seen TWICE by Thrive already! - Did not diagnose an obvious respiratory infection. (Seriously he was wheezing and had blood coming out of his nose) Had to come back the next morning after cat had sneezed blood all over the place. This place is useless af and thanks to them my 10 year old dog passed away yesterday .This all started on November after another vet found a lump around her stomach and my dog started throwing up so we took her to thrive only to tell us that she was all healthy and fine,then after that she started getting worse and worse and decided to take her to a different vet but by that time it was too late my dog's health was too bad already and died before her surgery yesterday .If thrive had done their job correctly then she would of... read more

1. The ThrivePlus membership has zero value beyond the discount on the shots in the puppy care package because they have very limited availability for appointments. P.S. they also require it for 6 months so you can't cancel when you realize it is a fraud. 2. The Call Center that takes your calls is the worst part of their company. Here are a couple examples: a.
