1. They turn through their staff, veterinarians, constantly. In the last 4 years I have seen 5 different vets because the one before "doesn't work here anymore." Even the support staff would tell me they are leaving and it's bad place to work. This affected me and the care of my cat, because there were was no continuity and even though she was diagnosed with renal failure and hyperthyroid there, I had to explain the same thing over and over. When it came time to focus just on "comfort care", where I didn't want her to be sub... read more
Critical: Professionalism, Reliability, Responsiveness Went in for the rabies shots walk ins today at 9:22am. I was told there were three people ahead of me and when I called back an hour later I was told there was one person ahead of me. Processing two people per hour? Really? Some serious incompetence in the process. Time will tell but it appears that it will take another hour to get to me. Willing to update this if something changes. Otherwise just avoid this place. Update: over two hours later. Still waiting when ove... read more
Stay away, find a better more customer friendly vet service. Even with a mask they will not let you into the premises. When you arrive for your "appointment" you have to call them and quite often you get voice mail. After leaving a message you wait for a call back and once you connect they tell you to wait until a tech comes out for your pet. You are told to remain outside and after completion the vet will call you. After that you wait for another call so someone can take your payment data and then finally your pet is brough... read more
I really wanted to like Tigard Animal Hospital as the staff I have interacted with have been very friendly and nice in person. HOWEVER, they have royally forked me over due to their lack of thoroughness and follow-through. Having to bring my dog in more than once for the same issue that could have easily been treated on one visit now spread out to multiple visits costing no less than $200+ each time. My dog recently had surgery to remove a lump for biopsy. The doctor called only 1 time and got my voicemail and didn't leave ... read more
I brought my cat in because I thought he MIGHT have a UTI. Instead of just doing a urine analysis, they insisted on doing an ultrasound too (before even knowing if he actually had an infection). Then they told me there was no sign of a UTI but he did show signs of inflammation from "stress". He's a cat, he's always on high alert especially being an indoor/outdoor cat. They told me even switching his food could cause this slight amount of inflammation and charged me $50 for anti-inflammatory medication, after I questioned if ... read more
Our dog was severely burned which resulted in a near fatal infection due to post-surgery negligence by this vet. UPDATE: The vet called and has agreed to pay for the emergency vet visit ($375) but we have not received any check as of yet... and not before trying to convince us to bring our injured dog BACK to them for another visit.. On top of that, we are still doing weekly visits with another vet to try and solve the injury/prevent further damage. This vet should be closed for malpractice. My poor dog is still in pain an... read more
Worst Animal Hosp. ever. The receptionist will hang up on you even if you tell her it's an emergency. They quote you one price when you call and ask how much a neuter is and then they will totally jack it up six times. There are a lot of illegal practices out of this place. Take your dog anywhere else. Our dog has a microchip and they were trying to slip in another for the quote. When we tried to get help we got the runaround and hung up on. So we spoke to the vet in PERSON for the opportunity to get test results that could... read more

We are sorry to hear you of your recent experience. Management is currently looking into the details that you outlined above and will address accordingly. Thank you.
I took my cat there in late December because she was sick. After waiting in the car I received a phone call from the Dr. Zietz saying, " he didn't like what he was feeling" and recommended an ultrasound and blood work. I agreed to the ultrasound but decided hold off on the bloodwork until we could see the results of the ultrasound. A short time later, he called back and said the ultrasound and bloodwork was not good and my cat was in distress with severe renal failure. I was surprised by the bloodwork but since I hadn't a... read more

Hi Tim, We are deeply saddened by your experience at our clinic and apologize that we jeopardized your trust with this confusion. Steps have been taken to ensure this situation never occurs again. Thank you for providing your feedback.
my name is Brian Stone oh, and I have a service dog that was ruined at this Hospital due to a technician that didn't know what she was doing and now my dog is super scared to go into a vet.. and now with the coronavirus they will not let me go in with my dog even though it's the law that you cannot take a person or a service dog away from each other and now I have been turned away I would never recommend this place they are in it just for the money and they do not care about the animals they just care about the money
