this place was horrifically filthy. I stayed for 3 months. I came home with dandruf & acne on my arms from bacteria build up; Neither of which I have never got before. The food was disgusting, I hope you like tuna noodle casserole, broccoli mac & cheese, or butchered attempts at terriyaki chicken & fried rice (which was always cold or cement hard). The food was so gross even the kitchen staff thought it was nasty. If you leave any crumbs on the table expect them to be there when you come back for your next meal. They give yo... read more

The only employees who cared about the residents were the Behavioral Health Specialists and about a handful of Group leaders. Doctors only cared about medicating you without fearing any side affects. If you had a bad reaction to new medications, you were shipped away to a local or not so local hospital. If you make one mistake at TK, they send you to RTU where you are stuck in one room with 10 other residents all day/everyday. Sad place.

Saw the bad reviews and was hoping my experience would be different. Unfortunately it was not. No communication, no feedback and she. There was they gave me 5 hours notice before discharging my daughter. I did not have time to set up and aftercare. It may be good for eating disorders but for behavioral it is not good.

Went to TK for a total of four days. Maybe since I was only there for such a short time, my review will be somewhat inaccurate. But I will tell you some truths that made me leave. I have ADHD and autism as well as an eating disorder and mood disorder. I'll tell you right now-- TK is NOT ADHD or autism friendly. I have been taking adderall for ADHD for a year and a half now. It's done wonders for me--I don't feel foggy and depersonalized all the time and I can hold a conversation. Well, despite the fact that I brought a wr... read more

Run like hell away from this place. Might be me ok for eating disorders but nothing else. Staff lies and blows you off all the time. Psych care only once per week. It's like a prison. I regret going on many levels..

Horrible experience. Staff mistreated my daughter. She slept on a couch for days and I was not notified. Zero communication between staff and with families. Would not recommended.

Timberline Knolls Review: They honestly deserve zero stars. Timberline Knolls is trash. Incompetent staff. No list of acceptable/prohibited items provided before arrival. Then the staff insists on doing inventory aka searching your baggage without you present. They confiscate banned items and send them to security where some may become "lost", stolen or damaged. Oh and the facility is not responsible for any lost or damaged items even if those items are lost or damaged because of them (workers). I'll say that the day I sig... read more

For eating disorders, TK is probably a good place to seek help, but otherwise it's pretty hit-or-miss. For my anxiety and depression, compounded by alcohol abuse, I got little benefit. Psychotherapy was adequate, but not frequent enough to get too much that was helpful. One therapist I had was good, but the other seemed to just go through the motions with me. Art therapy at TK is terrific--much more professional than I've experienced elsewhere. Pet therapy never happened while I was there. Being in a female-only environment... read more

1 star because I cannot put zero. My daughter was there for 4 days in April 2017. Know your rights before you go!! My daughter voluntarily admitted herself for PTSD with the understanding she could leave if it wasn't a good fit for her. She requested to sign the 72 hour release request within hours of being in the program and was denied. I had to camp out in the front lobby for 2 hours to demand she be released. They finally let her sign the request and they said she could leave as soon as the psychiatrist saw her. 3 days we... read more
