I was a patient there hoping to receive help for my depression. I left after a week cause i was so disgusted with how things are run. About 90% of the staff are straight out of college (aging around 22-25), they don't care about the patients, the group therapy was only handouts of information that I could've easily found on google at home, some of the people there were trying to break out, there was black mold in the walls and nobody did anything till someone had to go to the hospital because of it. (Timberline Knolls themselves deleted my review on google which was written more than a week ago, and other positive reviews have been written since. So here we go, on Yelp, assuming people will read this, or if it even gets posted.) Timberline Knolls opened in the mid-2000s. I had a terrible experience at Timberline Knolls. I was a patient diagnosed with an eating disorder, PTSD, and anxiety. Nobody cared about me during my stay. The food was horrible. The staff was cold. I couldn't depend on anyone to help me. I felt helpless. I didn't feel safe. I WOULD GIVE 0 STARS FOR TREATMENT, ACCOMMODATIONS, AMENITIES, MEALS & NUTRITION. I attended timberline knolls twice. Both times were absolutely horrible. Everyone stays in "lodges" with 25 girls and up. Everyone has a different reason for being there from anorexia and addiction to schizophrenia. They mix every single disorder together which creates absolute chaos. The people that work there are usually burnt out or it's their first job and they don't know what to do. My experience there was horrible and traumatic. I would give this center the lowest possible rating! After having an admission date for weeks lined up for a loved one we waited 12 hours to be told we should go home- there's no bed. Horribly staffed. Rude to vulnerable families. I shudder to think what goes on there.

This is definitely not what it seems. I was totally caught off guard in the fact that it was like a prison. And the staff at the lodges were mostly in their 20's. And the range if resident issues and ages were just to much. I felt it was like a bunch of 13yr olds watching a bunch if 12 year olds. There were some good groups, but the tota loss of freedom didnt help. So many staffing issues and other issues that made this facility undesirable.

My name is ****. My daughter is at Timberline Knolls, a facility licensed under SUPR. She was admitted for care regarding her OCD symptoms and suicide attempt. I made it clear she does not have an eating disorder, nor an addiction issue. They assured me that they were well suited for handling her OCD. Our daughter was admitted for psychiatric problems that Timberline Knolls (or TK as they like to call themselves) said they could handle. The nursing staff are wonderful. I cannot say enough nice things about them. They are caring and one of the big bright spots of this whole experience. The facility and grounds are nice. If I could leave a lower rating, I would. My experience at timberline knolls has left me with terrifying memories. Girls were constantly self harming in group and in our rooms, and the staff never intervened/offered additional support/restrained when necessary. There were multiple times where girls had made plans to commit suicide, disclosed their plans to staff, and were dismissed.
