Worst treatment place in the WORLD!!! Timberline knolls was a very unsafe place to be while trying to recover. Staff would give shots to people for no reason. The patients there would hurt each other and also run away from the property while staff are worried more about me who was on a one to one for no reason. They sent me in an ambulance for no reason. Due to that my parents had To pay $2,000 For a 5 mile ambulance ride. They wouldn't let me get support from my family, making me feel like I was alone. One of the therapist... read more
I wanna say that the Willow Lodge the BHS's the nursing staff and the therapist are amazing. With that being said I would still not recommend this place to anyone. The reasons for that are false advertisement on your marketing there is no horseback riding, pet therapy happened once in the month that I was there, no activity whatsoever as far as being physical or working out I think they have yoga once a week and it gets canceled all the time. So when I was looking for a mental health facility that was active and also had lot... read more
This is a difficult review for me to write, because as a healthcare professional, I understand many of the obstacles they face. I spent a total of 7 weeks at TK residential facility. I came in optimistic and motivated. I have struggled with an eating disorder for many years, and I chose TK because 1. they allowed me to bring my ESA - who, is imperative to my recovery, and 2. they have a faith-based program. I loved the staff. I have nothing negative to say about them. I was always treated with respect and I felt like they ... read more
Lol so where do I begin. I checked in on December 18th of 2019. I was discharged about two and a half weeks later. My therapist, Sharon, was INCREDIBLE. We bonded like legitimate friends. We had the same sense of humor which was a bonus. I honestly still miss her till this day. The staff (BHS) however.. omg where do I begin. I felt like I was at a daycare... "Ok Amanda it's time to change your diaper" with a gentle, soft voice type of stuff. Our needs were just too much work for them. For Instance, my cigarettes that were i... read more
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE!!! I was admitted on January 29th for self harming behaviors and suicidal thoughts and had all of the motivation in the world to recover. I left after one week due to how poorly I was treated. At admissions, I signed a paper giving them permission to go through my belongings and inventory them without me present as long as they went through the list with me and explained what I could and couldn't have. I never once saw my inventory... They lost my iPod, alarm clock, batteries and charger... read more
I was a patient there hoping to receive help for my depression. I left after a week cause i was so disgusted with how things are run. About 90% of the staff are straight out of college (aging around 22-25), they don't care about the patients, the group therapy was only handouts of information that I could've easily found on google at home, some of the people there were trying to break out, there was black mold in the walls and nobody did anything till someone had to go to the hospital because of it. This place is basically a... read more
(Timberline Knolls themselves deleted my review on google which was written more than a week ago, and other positive reviews have been written since. So here we go, on Yelp, assuming people will read this, or if it even gets posted.) Timberline Knolls opened in the mid-2000s. Before then, it was called 'Rock Creek Center,' and had a rep of abusing patients, throwing them under the bus as well as housing unstable living conditions. Timberline Knolls won't tell you any of this because they want to maintain their good little re... read more
I had a terrible experience at Timberline Knolls. I was a patient diagnosed with an eating disorder, PTSD, and anxiety. Nobody cared about me during my stay. The food was horrible. The staff was cold. I couldn't depend on anyone to help me. I felt helpless. I didn't feel safe. I WOULD GIVE 0 STARS FOR TREATMENT, ACCOMMODATIONS, AMENITIES, MEALS & NUTRITION. They simply don't care or they care only for a select few sponsored/wealthy/famous patients. I should have reported my experience at the time but I was just too sick to f... read more
I attended timberline knolls twice. Both times were absolutely horrible. Everyone stays in "lodges" with 25 girls and up. Everyone has a different reason for being there from anorexia and addiction to schizophrenia. They mix every single disorder together which creates absolute chaos. The people that work there are usually burnt out or it's their first job and they don't know what to do. My experience there was horrible and traumatic. At one point 3 girls were having seizures, 1 girls was banging her head against the wall, p... read more
