We sent my 15 year old to TK on 1/4/23, she has battled with depression and suicidal ideation. We heard good things about TK and we ignored reviews. This place was absolutely terrible and it is not safe for your child. Not enough staff and residents constantly fighting verbally and physically. If you want your kid to be able to relax and focus on themselves and receive proper therapy this place is NOT for them. She also complained the facility was dirty. She stayed in Oak lodge. We finally took her out on 1/15/23. Which was ... read more

This experience has been absolutely horrendous and dangerous for our daughter. The facilities are extremely unclean and run down. From filthy bed and couches to mold growing in the showers. Lack of staff caused for vomit to remain on the floor in the children's lodge for hours. Lack of PROFESSIONAL staff is of extreme concern, from a BHA giving the girls a vape nicotine pen, to an extreme lack of communication with the parents. We have tried to reach out to the clinical director and the CEO to voice or concerns with zero res... read more

I've never written a bad review before, and I hope that this review can help out another family that is thinking about making this commitment for their loved one. It was recommended that my 13 year old daughter go to TK after being in an outpatient treatment for a few weeks. She wasn't ready to go back to school, and was finally being treated for ADHD. She was working on her emotions - how to deal with them, effectively communicate, understanding rules and boundaries, etc. After looking into TK, I thought it would be good f... read more

DO NOT GO!!!! Don't trust anything they say. It's all lies. The big one that they tell you is you can sign yourself out at anytime. I asked them every time I talked to someone on the phone and several times during admissions if I can and they kept telling me yes. Nope, you have to sign a 72 hour and the Dr has to approve it. If they don't you can't leave. They can keep you there upto 165 days against your will. They don't tell you any of that at admissions. They say we sign something before we get admitted. They put yo... read more

please do not go here!! i was 13 years old and i had to travel far out of state to go to TK. i ignored the bad reviews because i really needed a place to go for my depression, anxiety, and eating disorder. this was by far the WORST treatment place i have ever been to. they were NEGLECTFUL, and allowed me to keep sharp items in a locked room and didn't even care. there was a staff member who had made many sexual comments about the young kids, and this was reported to the staff and they did nothing. one night they forgot to ge... read more

This place is not therapeutic. If you like to color, read silently and be babysat then this is the place for you. Very disappointed. Maybe it has changed but this was my experience a couple years ago.

My daughter was sent here twice. The communication from staff was horrible. Both stays were around eight months then they just basically kicked her out because they couldn't do anything more for her. They flew her out there for "treatment " and now that they are done with her they refused to help get her back home. The first time I had to beg to get her back here. I despise this place.

Timberline knolls is understaffed and really only cares about the money. There are some staff that I would say care about the patients but the facility as a whole is disorganized and could care less about your care somedays. I REALLY encourage you to find elsewhere to go until TK cleans up their act. -- My experience consisted of lying by my treatment team, a psychiatrist and staff who were inconsistent, and a couple of nurses that made the situation much worse than it needed to be. Not to mention VERY poor COVID-19 protocol... read more

Please don't go here for yourself and don't send a love one here. They do so many basically illegal things there. Dangerous really. You will not receive proper, safe care. I say this as a registered nurse who used to work here. Had to leave cause I was terrified I'd lose my license.
