I can’t believe all the bad reviews people leave. I love TimePayment. They are a lender. When you buy something you as a customer have options you can decide on. You can use them to finance it, pay cash or use your own bank. As with any lender the rate is credit based as it should be. The higher the loan risk the more interest you pay. I know for a fact that the paperwork you sign with TimePayment discloses it all in writing. I recently applied for financing in June, and my deposit was drafted from my account the day after approval. I received an email confirming that the account was funded. I was patient and waited a few days before reaching out, only to be told that TimePayment hadnt actually funded the account.When I contacted customer service for clarification, the agent I spoke with was extremely rude and unhelpful. I entered into what I was told was a financing agreement for business equipment through TimePayment Corp. The equipment cost was approximately $7,372.50, and I was quoted 36 monthly payments of $391.10, with a one-time documentation fee of $125 and ownership at the end of the term.Since then, Ive been paying $545/month consistently for over a year totaling over $6,500 and was recently told that I still owe more than $8,000. I signed what I believed to be a financing agreement for a piece of equipment, only to later discover it was a non-cancellable lease disguised as financing. The total cost is more than double the actual value of the equipment, and even after paying all the installments, I still have to pay extra if I want to keep ***** no point was it clearly explained that this was a lease or that I would never own the equipment unless I paid more at the end. I am extremely disappointed with this businesss handling of my final payment. Despite providing clear banking proof that the balance was paid in full, Ive been subjected to ongoing and unwarranted harassment regarding a bill that has already been settled.I expected a higher level of professionalism and accountability, especially after doing my part and fulfilling all financial obligations. Please stay away from this finance company. Their terms and conditions are dishonest and are not upfront with cancelation policies. I purchased equipment from Stateside Equipment sales in *********** (also stay away from this company) back on 3/9/24. When I purchased the equipment ******* the sales *** told me the project would take around 30 days to complete. I followed up with him at the 30 day **** since I had not heard from them.
