Misleading practices and abusive lease terms I signed what I believed to be a financing agreement for a piece of equipment, only to later discover it was a non-cancellable lease disguised as financing. The total cost is more than double the actual value of the equipment, and even after paying all the installments, I still have to pay extra if I want to keep ***** no point was it clearly explained that this was a lease or that I would never own the equipment unless I paid more at the end. I WISH I HAD SEEN THESE REVIEWS BEFORE I USED THIS COMPANY NO TRANSPARENCY THEY LIE TO YOUR FACE ABOUT FINANCING YOUR EQUIPMENT AND THEN CHANGE THE AGREEMENT FROM FINANCING TO A LEASE TERRIBLE AND BBB SHOULD DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS COMPANY UNFORTUNATELY THEY ARE SUPER MANIPULATIVE AND THEY HAVE DEVELOPED LOOPHOLES THAT GIVE THEM LEVERAGE. SO I AM UNABLE TO LEGALLY DO ANYTHING BUT PAY AN ENORMOUS PAYOFF FOR THE EQUIPMENT. I THOUGHT I FINANCED.

I have NEVER EVER left a one star review. Here's my story. Started a financial planning business and used Spectrum for Internet. On a ****** search I stumbled on Spectrum VOIP which is a completely different company but was assured "they were Spectrum." I was told that I was doing a monthly contract with them and could cancel at any time. At some point along the way they sold the leasing contract to Timepayment. Only borrowed a certain amount of money to pay a vendor and now theyre saying we will be paying double the price of the equipment. Do not ever use this company!!

Got the payoff from the company on my account. I paid it. Then 4 months later, They do want to return equipment or buy out the lease. Now I have to pay a ****** or ship the equipment back. After I have more than the price of the equipment. Funny how its a loan then a lease then a loan and right back to lease. I will never use this company again!!!! I would give it no stars if it was a opinion.

Our operations have changed and sales are no longer going to be run through POS handhelds. Tried to cancel the contract because of the operational change. TimePayment will not budge and wants the balance of the 3 year contract paid ($2500) and the handhelds sent back.There has to be a some way to help out business when this happens. **************** repeats the same line over and over again: the contract is not able to be canceled.

I paid off a purchase I made in March 2024. They just charged me again for a payment. I called and all I could get was it is under review. I am going to by **** and submit a fraud charge against them.

We bought a piece of equipment through a company and somehow ended up financing it through Time Payment. Everything sounded great at first, 12 months, 0% interest, same as cash. However, when we tried to see how much was left to pay off, it was double the number and term length. Looking at the contract that was signed, my signature is nowhere on it.
