No normal for this product Printer would not except this one kept saying it was empty.
For Name Brand - UNIMPRESSIVE I bought the less expensive generic toner and was disappointed because it rubbed off. SO, I bought the "name brand" Brother toner. Now the print is faded along the left side of the page! Ugh! What's a legal secretary to do???
New toner making dirty prints. I used to be a big fan of Brother printers but lately the toner has been hit or miss in quality. Unfortunately, I missed the return deadline by a day. If you buy it before you completely run out, you either waste the rest of the old one or don't find out about a problem until you've wasted $100+. Very disappointing.
Too expensive for what you get! Unfortunately I purchased this item in March 2020 as a backup to my current cartridge so I didn't run out. The good and bad is... It just ran out so I installed the Brother cartridge and it's horrible.. The copies come out super dull. Unfortunately because I was being proactive in ordering it ahead of time; I missed the cut off time of May 31st. Never again. I would rather spend a heck of a lot less money and get cartridges that work.
Leaky cartridge Thought I would get more for my money by buying the high-yield cartridge for my Brother printer. It started leaking shortly after the warranty period expired. It had tons of toner left in it too. Bummer. I would have been better off with a regular cartridge. I love Brother printers, but I won't take another chance on one of their high-yield cartridges.
2nd Defective Brand Named Brother Toner Received a second Brother Toner supposedly brand new, but when I replaced the other Brother toner it printed just as bad as the first Brother Toner. The Test page showed very low on toner again brand new out of the box. This is ridiculous to pay over $100 for defective toner. I would like my money back for both toners. Plum ridiculousness.
very poor quality. I purchased this product last October. The first Toner cartridge was spreading toner all over my new Brother printer. The vendor was king enough to replace it. The second one (I have now) worked fine for the first 200 printing pages, and now has started doing the same thing as the first cartridge did (spreading dark toner all over the printer). Unacceptable print quality for the money. This toner replacement (for a Brother HL-L5200DW) is an absolute rip off. Print quality is terrible. I'm getting black speckles all over the printed document and no matter what printer settings I use, the print is barely legible. My 20 year old Canon L75 has fantastic print quality and I would have kept using it had I been able to get a driver for Win 10. This toner replacement should cost $20, not close to $100- I'll never buy another Brother printer again!
Yield of 8,000 I did not get anywhere near the 8,000 yield i was told I would get. I did not get 1/2 of that and now I can't print until I replace the toner. I am disappointed.
