Uptown Hounds was founded in late 2006 by Steve Robinson, a Lexington, Kentucky native. He envisioned a true resort for our beloved canines where all expectations would be surpassed and spent 18 months developing the concept and constructing the Lexington resort. Centered on family and hospitality, the Uptown Hounds resort is an all-inclusive home away from home, including vibrant activity for dog-loving families.

RecommendedOur dogs love it there! From the VWC doctors to the staff of Uptowns boarding and daycare we love it all! So thankful for this place! I am never worried when we leave them to go out of town... they are in good hands!
Dr. Richardson is awesome, so is Dr. Johnson, they are both so loving & compassionate about the animals. They both have taken care of our animals with such care, even in the times of having to put our furbabies to sleep. They help with their love & their compassion. The vet techs are just as awesome, especially Rachel ����
Everyone I've dealt with has been so nice. I dropped my baby off this morning, he took off running and never looked back. My puppy is 8 months old and 5.5 lbs and I feel very comfortable when he's at Uptown.
We love uptown hounds!! The staff is knowledgable and welcoming!! They take the time to get to know every dog that walks through their doors. I am not the only one that loves the staff, Rosie loves them too. Thank you, Uptown Hounds!!

My pup absolutely loves Uptown. He gets excited as soon as we turn into the parking lot. I know he has fun because he never even looks back after he goes with the staff, and he comes home exhausted. The facility is beautiful and the staff are great. I've seen a lot of comments about breed discrimination but Cooper is a pit mix and they welcomed him with open arms, he just had to go through the same evaluation every dog goes through there. I'm thrilled that I have the option to take my baby to a place he loves so much
