Uptown Hounds was founded in late 2006 by Steve Robinson, a Lexington, Kentucky native. He envisioned a true resort for our beloved canines where all expectations would be surpassed and spent 18 months developing the concept and constructing the Lexington resort. Centered on family and hospitality, the Uptown Hounds resort is an all-inclusive home away from home, including vibrant activity for dog-loving families.

Our dog Teddy comes to daycare twice a week and loves it! He gets so excited when we bring him and he comes home worn out after playing so much! They do a great job of updating with pictures on social media throughout the day.

I love Uptown Hounds😍. I get my dog groomed There and also use Veterinary Wellness which is on site. The Vets there are amazing!!

( Joy Massey) Our pooch has been going to Uptown Hounds since he was just a pup. He’s 7 now and I wouldn’t consider taking him anywhere else for boarding, doggie day or grooming. I’ve never met a staff member I didn’t like. He’s all tail wags and happy when I drop him off and pick him up. I couldn’t recommend them more!

I have taken my babies to Uptown for several years. This year we have been home bound and my girl became super attached to me and made our holiday stay difficult. The staff did a fantastic job with trying to get her to eat and keeping me informed. That gave me so much more confidence in them.

from what experience they did a great jib they were very nice when I called to check on my dog although with covid 19 I was unable to see what it looked like on the inside my dog seem ok when he was brought home

This is our second pup that we have entrusted to Uptown Hounds for daycare. The dogs are well supervised, given 3 active sessions of playtime/day and multiple potty breaks. Boarding, while expensive when compared to other local places, is also very good with multiple options for exercise, cuddling and treats. Staff are always friendly, professional, and consistently exude a happy and welcoming greeting when seeing your pup!
