RecommendedOur pup has separation anxiety and is dog aggressive. We were worried to board him but he was well behaved and had a great time. The staff was friendly and cared well for our dog. Our pup will be returning when we take our next trip!

Steve, our priority is the safety of our dogs and our team. While Charly is the sweetest girl, her play style did not fit in with our Daycare group play. She was suspended for 10 days because she bit two of our team members during rambunctious play. Our Daycare pack is large and includes dogs of all sizes and play styles. Charly's chase and pin playstyle was putting her and the other dogs at risk. I am writing this review to give caution to those looking to get their pup groomed here. I tried uptown hounds for the first time after having to find a new groomer my last one moved. I thought since they asked for vaccination records they would be legit. I messaged them through text and gave them a heads up that my sweet 9 y/o sheltie has alopecia x and stage 3 kidney disease and was having some hair loss only on his hind quarters. The groomers/bathers are great. They gave my dog a great cut, and she smelled so good after picking her up. However, I have seen how other employees treat the dogs. They yell at them, yank them by the leash, and I’ve even heard them cuss at the dogs. This is NOT right! I am very disappointed and disgusted at the fact that these employees treat these babies that way. These dogs are in a luxurious hotel with very nice rooms, yet the employees in the back treat these babies like trash. I will never take my dog back there again!
I had the worst experience at Uptown Hounds. First of all, this is the most expensive boarding I have ever used so I had high expectations. My dog was boarded for two nights and at check in I was informed he would only have 3 potty breaks per day unless I added on extra charges and services. I payed extra money per day just for my dog to receive pets (which all dogs should automatically get at boarding?) when I picked my dog up his legs were covered in urine. RecommendedI took Beau our Maltese Shitzu mixed to get groomed on Saturday morning they had him about 2 1/2 hours and I went to pick him up and was very happy with his cut and service did a very good job with him I have already set his next appointment I will use them again for sure

This was my first and only experience I will have with this company. My first time my one year old beagle mix had been boarded, they did nothing that I requested including daycare which I dropped off at 6:30 am to be evaluated for per the receptionist informing me to do so. When requesting not to be charged for the pictures that were apart of the package I chose and did not receive they offered a credit of 4$, making it only a dollar a day for not doing what was part of what they offer as part of cost. they want proof of too many vaccinations. Dogs have lifetime immunity with some and I will not give ones not required by law. Rabies yes. Many others...no to my older dogs.

RecommendedAtticus has been going to Uptown since he was old enough to attend. He is going on six and still loves it there! It took two summers, but they finally helped him get the courage to jump in their saltwater pool—now he dives to the bottom to fetch toys. I can’t recommend Uptown enough!
