Uptown Hounds was founded in late 2006 by Steve Robinson, a Lexington, Kentucky native. He envisioned a true resort for our beloved canines where all expectations would be surpassed and spent 18 months developing the concept and constructing the Lexington resort. Centered on family and hospitality, the Uptown Hounds resort is an all-inclusive home away from home, including vibrant activity for dog-loving families.

My parents had an amazing experience here so I decided to take my puppy. Dr.Johnson was AMAZING! Her compassion and concern didn't go unnoticed. I will be back and I highly recommend them!!! I recently had to pick a vet for my puppy I got from the human society in Lexington. My boy had pneumonia and was declining fast. I met with Dr.Estill and she was beyond Amazing! RecommendedOur pup has separation anxiety and is dog aggressive. We were worried to board him but he was well behaved and had a great time. The staff was friendly and cared well for our dog. Our pup will be returning when we take our next trip!
My pup LOVES Uptown and so do I. All of the attendants are friendly and caring. Max drags me in to play and drags out exhausted when I pick him up. It's a perfect day for him and I know he's happy!
These folks are the best! I adopted a pup from the humane society and immediately enrolled him in daycare here, since he had some pretty terrible separation anxiety. The services are pricey, but are worth every penny. Tuco came home from daycare exhausted - especially on swimming days! The staff were always so courteous and kind, and they loved seeing Tuco in the mornings (and for an anti-social dog, I knew he loved them too when he was so excited to go in!). Great facility, great services available and reasonable prices.. The staff has always kind and helpful. My dog is everything to me and I wouldn't hesitate to bring him here. He love's the swimming pool. He has made many friends...
