Uptown Hounds was founded in late 2006 by Steve Robinson, a Lexington, Kentucky native. He envisioned a true resort for our beloved canines where all expectations would be surpassed and spent 18 months developing the concept and constructing the Lexington resort. Centered on family and hospitality, the Uptown Hounds resort is an all-inclusive home away from home, including vibrant activity for dog-loving families.

RecommendedDaycare drop off/ pick up is so easy! The staff is always welcoming and personable. I feel great about leaving our baby there for the day, and trust he will have fun!

Sweet Bella Rose loved her stay at Uptown Hounds. Though she has been there many times before it was on short visits. This time I had to be gone for six weeks. They loved her, cuddled her, played with her and made sure she was happy and felt safe. I love Uptown Hounds. Thanks for loving my sweet Bella Rose.

My dog Jonas is always so excited to go to doggie day care. Everyone is so nice and pay attention to every detail, making it so easy to drop him off without any hesitation. I love this place!!

Uptown Hounds doggie care givers are indeed caring and as well as knowledgeable. Riley loves, loves his doggie daycare days! The facility with its services are excellent and an indoor pool would make it off the charts!

I can’t believe how lucky I am to have Uptown Hounds! I was seeking daycare for my chihuahua puppy while I was at work. She was shy but needed playtime that I couldn’t offer due to my work schedule. I toured several local daycares that all seemed great, but I knew I found my baby’s daytime family the minute I walked in the door of Uptown Hounds.
